Know your customer form
To use this form, you'll need to save it to your computer. Then open it using Adobe Acrobat Reader, print it blank, fill it in, then submit to your nearest HSBC branch with the following documents.
Required documents:
- Valid national ID or passport
- A valid residency visa (only if you're a foreigner resident in Egypt)
If your residential address isn't up-to-date in your national ID or passport, or if you're not an Egyptian, you'll also need to provide:
- Proof of residency address – an electricity bill, telephone bill or tenancy contract issued or notarised by a governmental or public entity.
- Proof of employment – HR letter for employees and tax card for the self-employed
- Valid ID and proof of residency address for any signatory to your account, including delegated persons by virtue of Internal Power of Attorney or supplementary cardholders
Important note: submitting your documents will initiate an assessment process, during which we may need further documentation from you. We'll let you know if that's the case.
